KORKZcrew is the blue dot on the map

Today's excitement included scaling Mount Laundry. We are extremely lucky to have access to a laundry room here at the marina to make the process less painful and time consuming, as their machines can fit a tad more clothing than KORKZcrew's max of about 5 shirts 😳. Ron lugged our 4-person pile over to the hotel in this attractive custom laundry bag we keep on board. 😜 When we found the machines were full, a really kind hotel employee offered for me to use the washing machine in the hotel's private laundry area, where they wash sheets and towels. So decent of her, and it kept us from having to use the $7 tokens to operate the machines.

In spite of all of the "fun" going on with the laundry, Skeet decided it somehow sounded more inviting to climb the lighthouse on his own. I waited at the back of the boat (between folding, of course 🤓) until he emerged at the top. We're hoping to all climb it together tomorrow.

The lighthouse has served as such a beautiful backdrop to our marina slip. It's decorated for Christmas, too, as you can see in this timelapse, showing when the lights come on.

The weather has continued to be rather dreary, and I'm so glad we were able to convince Greta to stay a few extra days as she was originally scheduled to fly home tomorrow. Really hoping she'll have a chance to surf, but if not, at least the forecast is looking like we may just see that orange ball in the sky again soon.
